USPSTF Changes Stance on PSA screening

On April 11, 2017 the US Preventative Services Task Force issued a new draft prostate cancer screening recommendation. This new recommendation shifts from the recommendation against routine prostate cancer screening to a recommendation for informed and shared decision-making in which the physician and patient discuss the real risks of harm and the potential for lifesaving benefit.
